Today we had the pleasure of visiting the Women’s Guild at St Machan’s Church in Larkhall to talk about SMILE Children’s Charity.
We honestly couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. It was such a lovely afternoon sharing our story, why SMILE was founded, the families we support, and some of the exciting plans we have ahead.
We were invited to stay for their Daffodil Tea and enjoyed the most amazing homemade pancakes – the baking skills in that hall were something else!
They very kindly gifted the charity £50 for coming along, and we were truly touched by additional donations of an incredible £207.
Thank you so much to everyone we met today. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to local families who are caring for children with disabilities and serious illnesses.
