We were absolutely delighted to welcome Alex Kerr MSP to Canderavon yesterday to share our vision for the future of SMILE House.
It was a fantastic opportunity to talk through our plans for this unique, first-of-its-kind £2 million project, which will provide accessible respite, wellbeing, play and support for families of children with disabilities, complex needs and life-limiting conditions.
Once complete, SMILE House will support thousands of families over the years while creating a lasting social and economic impact for our local community through employment, volunteering, partnerships and increased local spending.
Although we have already secured significant funding, we still need further match funding to bring this vision to life. We are hopeful that The Scottish Government will recognise the transformational impact this project will have and will support us in making SMILE House a reality.
