A Huge Milestone for SMILE Children’s Charity
We are absolutely delighted and honestly over the moon to announce that SMILE Children’s Charity now has a van to support our growing work across Lanarkshire and beyond!
This will make a massive difference to the families we support and will help us transport equipment, collect donations, support events, assist our volunteers, and continue building towards our vision for the Canderavon Respite House & Sensory Play Centre.
A very special thank you goes to Jamie Tomlinson and the incredible team at Bell Truck and Van Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles for their support in enabling us to purchase the van. We are so grateful for your help in making this happen for our charity and the children and families we support every single day.
For a small grassroots charity like ours, this is far more than just a van, it’s another huge step forward in helping us reach more families of children with disabilities and serious illness across our communities.
Now for the exciting next step…
We would absolutely LOVE the support of a local vehicle graphics/signage company who may be willing to help us brand the van in full SMILE colours and graphics so we can proudly spread awareness of the charity wherever we go!
